I decided to review this show because I love the show and this is the perfect show for me to talk about so I am not just lurking on here. I point out some flaws but that is mostly because episode 6 followed episode 5 which was amazing. A lot of the episode 6 subjects were childish so I will refer to the American school system numbering a few times,I put the age number right next to it.
I thought episode 5 was amazing but was comical. The show move to a second grade level. (about 8 years old) I never thought on this show I would be hearing telephone and traffic light back to back. I would have never guess there was American Inventions I actually had to rewind because I found a items so random. (it just reminded me of the 'randomness' of a kids teaching program or video game that gives grade level words,not based on topic) they used a weird photo for Layla/Leia in the Star Wars category (I think the traditional white dress would have been best) but they did pretty decent overall. you can see they both knew their stuff and they did a good job showing it.
just in case I wasn't sure they got it off of young children videos our next category is weather.I will give credit that I wrote most of that after the first clue and it did get more complicated midway to high school level.but we saw them both slip up there. I am not sure why they are simplifying these games. granted here in the USA had a game called 'smarter than a fifth grader' than most people lost so that could be why. (to be fair it was more difficult than many places fifth grade and the fact that fifth grade was a lot more difficult now and then it was 20 years from 2006 also play the part) granted I thought we did weather either episode 2 or episode 3.I love the line "i'm not telling my strategy what am I doing." going to be one of the top lines, not just in this show but in general about strategy.
cooking was pretty bad. (in terms of the language comment reasoning. The game was pretty much done before he mentioned there being any language issues so I am not factoring them,if it happened earlier in the round ok) But talk about a loss, though understandingly this show usually chooses weird photos but not even a single person change. also they were times where she could have said pass faster when she obviously knew she did not know. (she had a conversation at one point) I think based on what I saw with the wrestling category if they went through a few they would have got into different style musicians and might had a chance.
at least the next episode is better which leads to episode 7 in the next post to shorten the length of each post. (given that this will likely have to be translated since this is not Russian)
