The Money Drop Thailand — интеллектуальная телевизионная игра, выходившая на территории Таиланда. Для того, чтобы сохранить как можно больше денег, нужно было ответить на 7 вопросов. Эта игра основана на формате The Money Drop. Игра выходила по субботам и воскресеньям с 17:30 до 18:00 часов. Игра выходила со 2 августа 2014 года по 25 февраля 2018 года.

Правила игры

Классические правила

В каждой игре участвуют 2 игрока. Перед началом игры им выдается ฿ 2000000, разделенных на 50 пачек по ฿ 40000 каждая. Также специальным призом является автомобиль Toyota Vios стоимостью ฿ 830000. Участники распределяют деньги по люкам, соответствующим определенным вариантам ответа. Цель игроков — ответить на все 7 вопросов и сохранить как можно больше денег.

Сначала участники выбирают одну из двух категорий вопросов. Некоторые категории могут быть предоставлены спонсорами. После выбора категории демонстрируются варианты ответа, и только затем вопрос. На обдумывание и распределение денег по люкам у участников есть 60 секунд. Участники должны распределить все деньги и как минимум один люк должен остаться свободным. Также, помимо денег, на люк должны быть поставлены ключи от автомобиля.

Если игроки нарушают правила, например, занимают все доступные люки или распределяют не всю сумму, игра немедленно прекращается и участники уходят ни с чем.

После истечения времени открываются люки с неправильными ответами. Если на них стояли деньги, они падают в "деньгопровод" и больше не принадлежат участникам. Если участники проиграли все деньги и ключи от автомобиля, игра завершается. Но если у игроков осталась хоть какая-либо сумма, игра продолжается. Однако некоторые пары, проиграв всё, получали возможность переиграть вопрос.

Игроки должны отыграть все 7 вопросов, они постепенно усложняются, но число вариантов ответа уменьшается в следующем порядке:

Однако некоторые выпуски имели другие правила игры:

Использовалась всего одна пачка стоимостью ฿ 10000. Игры по этим правилам шли, начиная с середины 2015 года, параллельно с играми по классическим правилам.

Однако с 15 апреля 2017 года, правила изменились. Число вариантов ответа увеличилось до 3, сумма в ฿ 10000 разделилась на 2 пачки по ฿ 5000 в каждой.

С 22 июля 2017 года игры по правилам Fast Track упразднены.

The Money Drop Thailand เงินด่วน — вариант игры, заменивший игру по правилам Fast Track. При этом правила аналогичны правилам Fast Track: одна категория вопросов, три варианта ответа и 2 пачки по 5000.
